We are psyched to share that Karl Holl from Let Um Eat will be joining us for our monthly Tournant Oyster Social! Anyone who's met Karl knows that his passion for food, farming and flavors is as big and infectious as his generous spirit. He cooks, cures, pickles and preserves the best of what is grown, raised and foraged on or near the Let Um Eat farm and on this night you'll get to sample his wares.
For this special Oyster Social collabo, we'll be featuring some vegetables grown on the Let Um Eat farm and Karl will be slicing some of his spectacular cured meats (think salumi, lardo, 'nduja and prosciutto), served alongside some of his signature pickles and good cheer. We will be showcasing fresh NW oysters and other raw bar selections, rounding out the menu with tapas-style small plates.
HEAD'S UP: Our dear friend Matt from Merit Badge will be shaking and stirring up cocktails featuring spirits from Portland's own New Deal Distillery and we're proud to be donating 10% of all drink proceeds from the evening to the ACLU. Cheers to freedom!
